Why this campaign, why now

A generation ready to lead — if we equip them.

South Sudanese youth in Juba and Bor are coming of age in the longest stretch of conflict and displacement in their country's modern history. They are not lacking ambition. They are lacking the things that make ambition durable: anchored teaching, trusted mentors, and tangible support.

Y.E.T. Compassion has spent two decades building the trust, the local relationships, and the operational discipline required to serve these communities well. 2026 is the year we put a focused plan against that opportunity — two camp sites, two weeks of intensive formation, and four months of follow-through that turns the camp from an event into a discipleship pipeline.

"Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it."

— Proverbs 22:6

The Plan

Three integrated phases. One outcome.

01

Two-Week Camp

Concurrent camp sites in Juba and Bor. Daily teaching, leadership formation, worship, and community service.

02

Materials Distribution

Bibles, study guides, leadership workbooks, and educational resources placed in every participant's hands to take home.

03

4-Month Follow-Up

Sustained discipleship with the local churches and schools that hosted the camp — so the work compounds, not evaporates.

The Budget

Where every dollar goes

Every line maps to a specific operational need. There are no administrative overhead allocations — 100% of funds raised are deployed to the field.

Frequently Asked Questions

Honest answers, before you give

Is my donation tax-deductible?

Yes. Y.E.T. Compassion is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Stripe sends an IRS-compliant tax receipt to your email immediately after your gift processes.

What happens if you exceed the $41,000 goal?

Excess funds extend the four-month follow-up phase, expand materials distribution to additional partner churches, or carry into the 2027 mission cycle. We will document any overage and its application in the field report.

What if you fall short of the goal?

The campaign is designed to scale. We deploy funds in the order shown in the budget; if revenue falls short, the follow-up duration shortens before camp scope is reduced. Donors are notified of any material change in scope.

Can I designate my gift to a specific line item?

Yes. Choose your tier on the Donate page or email gai@yetcompassion.org to designate a gift toward materials, follow-up, or another specific line item.

Do you accept stock, crypto, or employer matches?

Yes — for stock transfers, employer-match coordination, or major gifts, please email gai@yetcompassion.org and we'll walk you through it personally.

How do you measure impact?

Camp attendance, materials distributed, partner churches engaged, and follow-up sessions held — all reported transparently in the post-mission field report, with photos and a full financial reconciliation.

"Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver."
