The Word, Brought Near
Youth Evangelism & Discipleship is the ministry Y.E.T. Compassion was founded on: reaching young people with the transformative power of God's Word, grounded in Scripture and responsive to the realities they face. Many of the young people we serve navigate complex identities — bridging their heritage with life in America, processing trauma, and seeking purpose.
This is a ministry of teaching and discipleship, led by our founder, Evangelist Gai Bol Luom. It is not a program with a building or a budget line — it is patient, personal work: opening the Bible with young people, walking alongside them, and preparing believers who are ready to publicly declare their faith through baptism.
Gatherings for worship, teaching, and fellowship bring young people together for spiritual refreshment — and the one-on-one work continues between them.

Three Ways the Word Takes Root
Contextual Teaching
Preaching and teaching that opens Scripture in ways that connect to the lived experience of young people — grounded in the Bible, spoken into the realities they actually face.
Bible Studies & Small Groups
Sessions exploring Scripture together in small groups, where young people navigating complex identities and faith can ask honest questions and grow side by side.
One-on-One Discipleship
Walking alongside youth individually — spiritual guidance and pastoral care tailored to each person, including preparation for those ready to declare their faith through baptism.
